I read that ENTIRE special Uncut issue about Nick Cave--the one that, among other things, contains reviews of every album he ever did and every side project, and EVERY major magazine interview he did between like 1981 and the publication of the magazine, and I don't remember hearing once about Jethro, or for that matter his mother. Guess they edited her out?

Who I did hear a bit about was Viviane Carneiro (almost wrote "Liberto" there instead of "Carneiro," that'd be Johnny Cash's first wife, and the subject of a recent documentary) who was his first wife from Brazil, he married her in 1990 when he was doing his best album The Good Son and had a kid with her in 1990. He had Jethro in 1991 with this other woman so I guess that means he was cheating on her, because he had a son with his Brazilian wife that same year. They divorced in 1996 and he ended up with PJ Harvey, then with that model whom he had the other kid with, the one that fell off the cliff.
