The Asha Puthli song is nice but pretty sure the label "space disco" has more to do with sonic textures (lots of zany synths + vocal effects etc) than lyrical content. But then, it seems like basically a bullshit term anyway and as I said, I haven't dug into the subgenre very much.
IMO Essential Logic are best represented on the "Fanfare In The Garden" comp which includes numerous cuts that are better than anything on their album. I personally prefer the Lora solo album to any of EL's stuff- less punky, more funky.
I'd say that the Wendy & Bonnie album is essential listening for all sunshine pop fans. Consistently great songs and the harmonies are gorgeous (got those similar voices that you only find in siblings).
