I actually would like to hear the 1968-69 Purple albums. I know a few of those psych songs they did, though I know the first three albums aren't held in terribly high esteem by much of anybody.
I know they were supposed to rule live, but triple live albums are rarely for me by *anybody*.
I've heard the song "Shake My Tree" from the Coverdale/Page album, the one where Coverdale plays into his own joke by turning into Robert Plant vocally after the first break. (I'm guessing you already know what Plant had to say about Coverdale, calling him "David Coverversions.") I sort of cracked up at that. I didn't hear most of the rest of it.
