Personally I don't find much in the way of a memorable melody in Angel. To me that song is all bombast. From Permanent Vacation, I particularly like Hangman Jury and Rag Doll. I actually think that album has alot of fun non-singles, but they don't have much identity. On the other hand, if they don't sound that much like Aerosmith they are at least much better than most of the pop metal from that era.
I guess Jaded is fine, but I really hate that album. Not only are the songs not good, but no two band members were ever in the recording studio together at one time, and it really shows. I admit that some of the 70s albums have their share of tracks that aren't exceptional songs, but I almost always like them because the band had amazing chemistry and when they had material that fit their song they could always make it sound good. Just Push Play is the opposite of that.
