But if a deluxe reissue has a lot of rare tracks rather than simply alternate versions of previously released tracks, it makes it much more worthwhile IMO. Have really been enjoying the rarities on the recent Beach Boys deluxe reissues (didn't include them on the RYM list because I limited that one to my absolute favorites and The Beach Boys sets are bogged down by live recordings from the 80's and 90's and shit like that). And I obviously know about Prince's wealth of unrelated material but am not a fan so I'm not interested in checking it out.
My version of the multi-disc rarities bootleg "Towering Above The Rest" has most of Radiohead's B-sides (many of which are very good and rival some of the stuff that made their albums IMO) as well as nice live tracks like their BBC sessions but don't think it has much from the "Hail To The Thief" era so might at least check out the deluxe version of that album, even though it's not one of my favorites.
Don't really have the energy to dig through any of those mammoth Crimson boxes, even for the '69 era which is my favorite. Between the debut and the live stuff on the "Epitaph" comp, I feel like I have all that I need from that era and also have plenty of live stuff from the "Lark's/Starless/Red" era.
