but it's nowhere close to being as good as any of Nick's albums or the "Time of No Reply" comp- I mean, most of it's Nick doing covers of traditional folk tunes. He does a better job of this than I would have assumed but his originals are clearly where he truly shines.

"Opel" on the other hand might actually be the best rarities comp ever (we ever had a "best rarities comps" Babble poll?)- all original material, more consistent than his 2 albums and flows like an album itself, contains superior versions of album songs etc. But yeah if you haven't heard "Madcap Laughs" for awhile you should probably revisit that one first.
