Music Babble

I generally consider that song to be one of the more overrated U2 songs. It has a great intro and the opening riff by The Edge is transcendental. However the song itself is fairly meh.

The live version essentially recognise this and made the intro the extended highlight of the song making it last for 2-3 minutes. It just marvellous how they slowly build up. Just the organ, then the drums hi hat, then the guitar harmonics by The Edge and then the famous riff and then the full band comes in. It is such a great arrangement
