It is true that he'll let basically anyone on his show, and he has a slightly unfortunate combo of being amiable and curious about the world, but too much of a boneheaded to do much more than blindly accept whatever's put in front of him.
I don't really buy that he's posing a danger to society by doing that though.
I don't really mind him but I never check him out except when he's got a guest I'm already interested in. The things are always 3 hours long!
The funny thing about the whole campaign against Spotify over it was that Spotify are completely irrelevant to his success - they spent all that money on him because they wanted his audience! If they dropped him, if anything he'd be even bigger because he wouldn't be locked in to one app.
