Silverchair - see post below. I appreciate Neon Ballroom a bit still.. and Ana's Song is stellar imo, as well as a couple others like Emotion Sickness
Green Jelly - total nostalgia. I remember the novelty of this band and their video on MTV which I think was some kind of claymation thing.
Spin Doctors - I hear that song quite a bit still and it's alright. I loved "Little miss can't be wrong" as a kid
Alanis - I still like Jagged Little Pill except for Ironic which I don't care for at all. I'm pretty sick of the album but I do appreciate it to this day. I prefer deep cuts like "Mary Jane" or "Not The Doctor"
Counting Crows - I honestly love them these days. Those first few albums are great especially the debut. I think almost anything else they've done is better than Mr Jones. Sullivan Street or A Murder Of One are great songs and I think A Long December is pretty beloved these days.
Lovefool - cute song I can never dislike
4 Non Blondes - one of those really obnoxious songs that I do kind of like. It's catchy and nice enough, mostly just that singer that is awful
Kris Kross - remember that shitty Sega CD game where you can edit their music videos? That's mostly what I remember besides Jump being big back in 92
No Doubt - they're okay.
Soul Asylum - weird al did a good parody of Misery. That is a really good song
311 - I remember hearing that album back in the day. Don't remember it much but Down is okay.
Joan Osbourne - always hated that song. These days I guess its okay.
Always hated Ricky Martin but once again I guess it's okay fun nostalgic pop. Mostly stuff people bring up as a joke. Now I can't think of anything but William hung when She Bangs comes up.
Rancid - never hear about them at all anymore. Didn't care for them back then but they were an alright punk pop/alt rock group at the time
Tag Team - absolute ####ing classic for sure
Blues Traveler - I like The Hook. Run around is okay.
Hole - def need to revisit Live Through This and Celebrity Skin sometime soon
Prodigy - mostly just think of the outdated internet service when I hear this name.. but no, this song was pretty big back then. Not sure what I think of it now. Never had much of a thought about them. Kind of stupidly funny they have a song called "smack my bitch up" though. So edgy!
King Missle - definitely made us chuckle back then just having a title of a song "Detachable Penis". One of those weird songs that somehow hit big like Push The Little Daisies..a weird moment in time. Mostly 1993 from what I remember had weird songs like this become big.
I love I'm Too Sexy too. Very infectious in a stupid way that I can't explain. I appreciate them having the Third Stone From The Sun riff in there too for no reason at all whatsoever.
