I've heard My Brave Face myself before too, at least when I worked at Lowes 20 years ago when I heard a few strange choices for a department store. I did think Brave Face was at least a minor hit but I'm not sure either. It was one of those collabs with Elvis Costello which had amazing songs in the demo stages but aside from Brave Face completely falls flat when they tried to record them for albums. It was the late 80s and they came out way too slick and lifeless (like the stuff on Flowers In The Dirt by Macca). One of those sad missed opportunities. Love those demos though.
