I would be glad to tell anyone to watch The Keep, but that's because it's Michael Mann directing a World War II Golem fantasy movie and that's just plain bizarre. The movie was basically rushed and unfinished and rumors persist to this day that there's a proper director's cut of it, or that Mann is going to back after 39 freakin' years at nearly age 80 and do it justice this time. Uhhh yeah.
Manhunter is a glorified Miami Vice episode with a lame climax. If people like it better than Silence Of The Lambs, to me that just means they dislike SOTL.
Last Of The Mohicans was watchable when I was in high school but I've never gone back to it. I guess I could--the only Daniel Day Lewis action movie there is!!
Ali - Err...parts of this were okay. Does anyone really think it's a classic? Don't be surprised if someone else takes a crack at Ali's story sometime soon.
Collateral - Probably the closest I've come to really liking any of his films.
Miami Vice - For some reason I got really psyched over this and saw it in theaters. It was....uh, okay? Never rewatched.
Blackhat - The most soulless, cold, clinical, generic thriller I think I've ever seen, or at least that was made by a talented director.
