Before Sunrise is worth seeing - partly because of how much it's been imitated, it could verge on self-parody, as a movie about a well-educated, sensitive young people forming a connection. But I think it's very well done, and it's enhanced by its two (also very good sequels).
I loved All About My Mother but it's been at least 15 years since I saw it. I'd say it's worth seeing something by Almodovar if you haven't (or if you've only seen Talk To Her, probably his biggest hit but which I didn't like much), but I don't know if that's the best choice.
