Doing Zappa sounds exhausting. I love a lot of late-era Dylan and even the bad stuff has a certain baffling appeal, but tbh I've never listened to Under the Red Sky and don't have a lot of plans to listen to Down in the Groove again any time soon.
Idk, I've just never felt compelled to dive into full discographies unless I have a real fascination with an artist and it seems like they've consistently put out interesting music. I say this while listening to a Robyn Hitchcock album designed as an outtakes-and-alternates companion to the original. It might be the superior album! Actually you might enjoy getting into Hitchcock/The Soft Boys, Underwater Moonlight is a genuine classic and members of R.E.M. pop up at various points in his career.
