Music Babble

I've really only been using the guide for stuff in towns and on the overworld, and I'm up to the 6th dungeon and have gotten the cross but not beaten the boss. The kind of stuff that gets me stuck is when you have do to something outside of the regular game mechanics. Like, to get the mirror you have to duck under a table and press "attack." I guess that's the same button you use to talk to people, but I hate "puzzles" like that. In A Link to the Past you have to pull on the gargoyle to open Blind's statue, but you've been taught to pull on stuff. Zelda II never taught you to have that kind of irregular interaction with the background prior to that scene.

You know what the bullshitest puzzle I found so far was? Remember the swordsman behind the door, that you need to access going down the chimney? Well, I tried to go down the chimney as a fairy, and it didn't work, so I figured that the chimney wasn't the key. Eventually I gave up and looked it up. I just read that you had to go down the chimney, so I tried again as a fairy. Then I realized that I just had to use jump to climb onto the houses.
I know that you can't pick things up as a fairy, but you can enter doors, so I just assumed that if you had to go down the chimney then you could do it as a fairy, but nope! Honestly, I think they just forgot to program that possibility in, I don't think they meant to block you from doing it.
