was the atrociously titled Teargarden By Kaleidyscope thing, which was originally going to be a 44-song concept album based on the Tarot cards, but ended up being some digital download thing Billy released in pieces between 2009-2018. I haven't actually heard any of it, the last time I listened to new Pumpkins was Oceania but I only listened to that like once before moving on from it. As for Corg-o himself, all I've heard from him since 2007 was the Alex Jones stuff, feuds with bandmates, attempts to make up with bandmates, a quest to find an old psychedelic-painted guitar from the Gish era, a dumb crack he made where he told a fan he wouldn't play his hits because "people like you keep asking for them," and now this. I wonder if this new thing will get much attention at all. I'm pretty Corgan has milked Mellon Collie nostalgia for all he, or it, is worth--hell, he'd probably milked it by the time they broke up the first time in 2000. Since MCIS was written from the point of view of a teenager, what's this new one going to be? A 55 year old man who wishes he was still a teenager? Maybe it will outsell Chinese Democracy. Does Corgan realize that few people ever liked MACHINA? I really like about four songs from it, but have only listened through the whole thing maybe twice.
