Music Babble

I really shouldn't have put those PSB albums -- Actually is a good-not-great synth-pop album while Introspective is on another level and to me was the earliest show of what they can do. But Actually has "Rent" and "It's a Sin", among others (we're S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G, we're shopping) so it has no place here.

Blossom Toes is a mirror of the Stone Roses in that the two albums are very different, but If Only for a Moment is pretty dissatisfying. You get "Mrs. Murphy's Budgerigar" on the first and then stuff like this on the second:





Not an awful song (it's the best on the album), and I guess the album is mediocre rather than terrible, but it suffers in comparison.

The ABBA s/t was the first of theirs I heard and it's still my favorite (not counting singles collections).
