Music Babble

Rewatched Danny Kaye's "The Court Jester" with the gf not long ago and was pleasantly surprised by how well it holds up (used to love it as a kid). It's genuinely laugh out loud funny at times and I totally forgot how great most of the songs are. Sure it's mainly Kaye's show but I always thought Lansbury was perfectly cast.

Aside from that, all I've seen her in is Neil Jordan's bizarre "The Company of Wolves" (not entirely successful but still worth seeing for the weirdness factor and some of the best werewolf transformation sequences you'll ever see) and of course "Beauty & The Beast" (haven't watched that one in ages but but been meaning to revisit Disney's "comeback" movies that kicked off with "The Little Mermaid").
