Not for your opinion on Near Dark, which I don't care about, but your random dig on Messiah of Evil. The hippie scenes are painful, but the grocery store and the movie theater set pieces are maybe the only things I've seen on film that feel like nightmares I've actually had.
I didn't recognize Diabeł as the Zulawski film, but if that's the one then it sucks, like all non-Possession Zulawski that I've seen.
