I was kind of into it - the scene with the mask destroying the child is genuinely nasty, and I appreciate the attempt to do something new. I guess Nigel Kneale was initially involved, which shows in the ancient horror/folk curse stuff, and I like the evil Irish company town, and how the hero is this absolute loser schlub. The jingle is absolutely unbearable.
