Astounding tended to be more serious and have more real science in it (although editor John W. Campbell was also obsessed with sci-powers) and Bradbury was one of the few significant figures of that era who never published in Analog, I called it "Analog" the second time. I meant "Astounding." They changed the name later. "Rene Lafayette," on the cover of the April '49 Astounding, is Lafayette Ronald Hubbard.
