Especially "Thrilling Wonder Stories". Unsurprisingly, since I'm not much of a sci-fi fan, I'm not sure of who the most highly regarded sci-fi artists are but I stumbled across a book of Richard Powers's artwork awhile back and was so impressed I had to buy it. Not sure if you're familiar but he's one of the best I've seen- surprisingly psychedelic and abstract at times.
