Agreed about the standouts on Propaganda. I don't think I ever really got into that one much, or Indiscreet. But the following one, Big Beat, is good fun.

I can understand the Queen comparisons, but I agree they are a bit reductive. Also, there's only like four Queen songs I like.

For what it's worth, I think Siren to Manifesto is a bigger stylistic jump than Country Music to Siren. I think Siren has a bunch of good songs (you didn't mention "She Sells" or "Could It Happen To Me?", two little songs I like a lot) but it's never been one I've been excited to listen to straight through. I probably like Manifesto more overall.
