G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero - Out of all of the twenty-minute toy commercials I have revisited recently, this is the only show that still holds up in terms of original plots and good writing. It's no wonder my kid brother and I always wanted these toys the most. Also the best action figure toy line of all time.
Beverly Hills Teens - Short lived and obscured. I admired them because they were a little older than me, and they were rich and glamourous. They basically ripped off Archie comics. My mom didn't like us watching them because they were spoiled rotten.
The Smurfs - Watched them religiously on Saturday morning. My mom also didn't like them because there was only on female Smurf. They were creepy communists.
Ducktails - One of the last shows I loved before I outgrew children's cartoons. Plus the NES game was and endlessly playable classic.
Garfield and Friends - Ditto, above (one of the last ones). I enjoyed Garfield books when I was in elementary school.
Mask - Revisiting this, they were terrible cartoons. But they had one of the best toy lines of the 1980s. My brother and I had a little bit of their stuff.
Voltron - Predictable as hell. in every episode, the lions would unite, create the blazing sword, and destroy the evil robot monster. Sadistic. A Japanese cartoon that became popular in America (like Robotech). The bad guys killed innocent people.
The Flintstone Kids - I would always wait with patience for good ol' Fred to make a cameo.
