Forgot that "Ren & Stimpy" was moved to Snick
but looks like that happened a year after it premiered as one of the 3 original Nicktoons. My guess is that this was due to parents complaining about the bizarre and mature content. Ironic since the show was originally intended to be on MTV (which owned Nickelodeon) but someone apparently decided that an animated show about a dog and cat should obviously be targeted at young children (did they actually *watch* the show when they made this decision?). Of course, I mostly associate Snick with "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" which premiered as part of the original lineup and still holds up surprisingly well (own the first 3 seasons on DVD). Guess the other shows were "Clarissa Explains It All" (which was another Sunday morning show like R&S but don't remember any adult content on that show so not sure why it was moved to Snick) and "Roundhouse" (a lame variety show that seemed like a dry run for "All That").
