Wasn't Ebert a fan of Changeling? He was a fan of Paul Schrader's Hardcore where Scott played a strict religious guy who has to team up with a teenage girl to find out what happened to his daughter, who got into pornography? Maybe I confused the two.
The Omen - High-dollar 1970s Satan Schlock, this isn't a bad movie or anything but was basically lurid crowd pleasing stuff. Oh well, you've seen the beheading bit, right?
The Mothman Prophesies - This is an interesting urban legend, but not a good film. Just a big budget X-Files episode with crazy thing after crazy thing happening to the protagonists, who have to be played by actors who are bewildered the entire movie. ZZZZZZZZZ
Vampire In Brooklyn - I remember this as being crud, but the last time I saw it was probably about 26 years ago?
The Skeleton Key - Written by the ding dong who wrote Scream 3 and the Transformers movies. I doubt he's written anything good. It's about an old woman trying to steal a young woman's body.
