Music Babble

The stampedes I've read the most about were the 1979 Who concert disaster at Riverfront, and the Hillsborough disaster in 1989...those have probably been studied a bit by future generations. I guess the Great White fire was only sort of a stampede (31 of the 100 people who died were crammed into a single exitway.)

I mean, I'm from Kansas and did not know until around 2014 about the 1981 Kansas City Hyatt Regency walkway collapse, which killed 117 people. Maybe the problem is me.

Mothman seemed to get some attention around the time of the release of that movie, but I haven't heard much about the actual urban legend since, and it's been 20 years...
