The only song on what would be side two that registers as anything is Sorrow, and it still sucks. The robot voice tracks, which aren't songs, are kind of funny in their stupidity.
The Division Bell - Good grief, how did I ever like this? It's so dull. What Do You Want From Me at least kind of sounds like Pink Floyd, but it's so stilted and emotionless, it feels like it's moving in slow motion. Most of the rest of the album is glossy and boring. Maybe Keep Talking is actually the best song. At least the talkbox solo is funny.
I don't understand how I could have enjoyed this as a teenager. I'm now a little older than a fan who's high school and college years coincided with Dark Side through The Wall would have been at the time of its release, and it still sounds too much like old man pop for my tastes. Not to mention the fact that the songs all suck.
I guess they average out to be equally bad, but I'd agree that Momentary has higher level plains, although it also has deeper valleys.
