I've never been able to forget all those weird noises when the boy and girl are wading through that muck, or when the boy was staring gobsmacked at the (admittedly very pretty) girl while she was dancing the Charleston while bombs went off everywhere. The red text coming onscreen to tell you that 628 villages were razed in Belarus is pretty hard to forget too, one of the more notable uses of the Mozart requiem in movies.

The girl didn't really do any other movies. I *think* this is her, but I can't be entirely sure.

It would have been really funny to me if one of the images flashing through the kid's head at the end when he's shooting that picture of Hitler would have been the pic of the crowd in 1914 when WWI was being announced and there's a guy in the crowd with a mustache that people think is Hitler, but probably isn't. (Pics of Hitler when he was serving in WWI are kind of unrecognizable to me, honestly.)

Some critics have complained about the "night stalking" scene with the gunfire going off, but I wouldn't.
