i don't know the specifics of who gets what long weekends and who doesnt. but the government agency that i'll need to call is among them at the very least.

Yeah i dont think it's a lump sum thing regardless of how they do it. Could end up being some asinine payment schedule like 20$ a month or something. my other sister had something like that happen with some dumb screwup on her maternity leave recently.
