His first 3 albums after the "Paêbirú" collab with Lula (which is a 5 star classic and one of my all timer favorites- can't thank you enough for turning me on to it) are pretty consistently great but that one gets the edge IMO. I love the dramatic arrangements he utilizes there- his melodies have also never been better. The 4th and 5th albums are less successful but still worth hearing.

I recently checked out the Buddy & Junior album for the first time too- not as good as "Hoodoo Man Blues" but still pretty solid. Didn't realize Clapton and Dr. John were on it.

Ween show sounds dope. They still get brought up on the board every once in awhile so think people still care. Glad they're getting along and still performing.

I recently got covid too. Went to Maui with the gf and we both got it during the trip but symptoms were mild and didn't really kick in until after we'd done the main stuff we wanted too so thankfully it didn't really interfere with our fun. Mostly like a mild cold- scratchy throat, cough, slight headache, diminished sense of taste.
