Magnificent Obsession, Written on the Wind, and
An Imitation of Life. FWIW, I think Written on the Wind is the silliest, although if you don't agree that Sirk spins gold out of his hokey material then I'd skip All That Heaven Allows and Magnificent Obsession. I don't know if you'd like An Imitation of Life either, but that one might have a better shot.
Regarding their relationship to Far from Heaven, All That Heaven Allows and Imitation of Life are pretty clearly the two most direct inspirations.
