Music Babble

It's not what it sounds; it was a 40 (actually 42oz now) of 211 for a local bum. I was walking out to get a pack of smokes and he had the shakes and said he had been up since 4am yesterday and I like the guy, so I said what the hell. I had to explain very apologetically to the gorgeous Ethiopian girl behind the counter that it wasn't for me, but she knows about two words of English so she was just confused. Nervous the whole way back that this could normalize buying alcohol but now that I'm home I feel better. Just hope said local bum doesn't make it a habit but hey, he gave me $5 to cover it and the beer was only about $3 so I got a bag of chips with the extra. The whole way back it felt like the entire world was looking at me carrying a 40 of the nastiest malt liquor in the world in the middle of the day. (Seriously, for me, 211 was a net loss as I'd throw it up before I finished the bottle, and this is back when I thought Burnett's gin was great.)

Anyway, I don't know why I'm writing this. Just kind of out of sorts about it.
