Okay, just listened to live Tommy from Leeds for first time ever. Well, I guess it's nice not to have the "Underture" dragging things out. (That being said, I kinda liked "Underture" as driving music.) Why is it I find the band's ability to get so much done with a simple guitar-bass-drums-vox lineup so fascinating? It's not like Tommy was festooned with orchestral overdubs or anything.
