I'm guessing that's the continued appeal of the first film--that they got as much as they did out of such a small budget. Mel looks like he's barely finished high school!

I've forgotten--what's the Tommy reference in Thunderdome? Whatever its flaws I guess MMBT does have some of the most well-aged production design ever. Do you think it's a good idea to have the Master Blaster fight so close to the beginning?
