I can understand forgetting "Relax" and "Sunrise", which are both quite pretty but not that dynamic, and "Silas Stingy", which isn't very good. Alas, the most memorable thing about "Rael" is the terrible and obviously erroneous edit that was cleaned up on the '90s CD I had but for some reason has reverted to the original on the most recent reissue. But it's a good song besides that.
My choice for Jesus & Mary Chain would be their entire discography starting at track 2 of their first album.
Some of mine:
David Byrne/Fatboy Slim - Here Lies Love. The entire second half has never made an impression on me. I think it's partly that it gets a little more dancey and less melodic, and partly fatigue. But also the songs just aren't that good (the one I can remember, "The Whole Man", squanders Kate Pierson vocals, which isn't easy to do).
Janelle Monae - Archandroid - tracks 10-16 are all at least somewhat forgettable, with the most memorable part being the guy from Of Montreal being annoying.
There are almost too many for me to think of good examples - there's plenty of albums I know I like but have only listened to a few times without paying close attention.
