TBH I don't remember "Biophilia" at all aside from it being more stripped down and less embarrassing than "Volta" but was still very by numbers. "Vulnicura" was a tad better IMO but pretty cold (but it was her divorce album so that's understandable).

Yeah, the new one is sorta in the same vein as those 2 but at least it's got some interesting arrangements featuring horns and other live instruments, whereas those other 2 just seemed to consist of icy synths and strings. As I've said, I think she just needs to radically reinvent her sound at this point. Always wished she would have done a jazzy set with a piano trio (maybe augmented by a couple of horns).
