you pick on Pan's Labyrinth? I rewatched it last month, after watching Spirit of the Beehive (which is better), and I still think it's really good. The heavy tinting is the "bad 2000s element," for sure, but everything else is good.

My biggest eye roll was 12 Years a Slave. I'd have been more accepting of the Gordon Parks version, if they want to include a film made out of that book.

At least the traditional Disney movie was ahead of the Pixar movie, although I'd have picked Pinocchio, Dumbo, or Fantasia, and the second or third Toy Story over the first.
