You're not wrong about The Sensual World's lushness - you'll hear an attempt at course correction on Director's Cut. But I still like it a lot. I can see the similarities between "The Big Sky" and "Love and Anger", but I love both of them so I don't mind. I like the way all the sus chords in "L&A" make it feel like it's always tilting between a couple different keys.

I guess there's several songs on Sensual World that I can't remember offhand, but it starts and ends well which always makes an album feel better than the sum of its parts.

"Jennifer" is definitely the main reason I ever listen to Faust IV.

Any strong feelings on "I Know You're Out There Somewhere"? I don't think I've ever bothered to listen to Sur La Mer in full, but I love that one.
