I've always thought that Passing the Time, As You Said, and Pressed Rat and Warthog were a weak stretch, but I have a hard time seeing As You Said as filler, I think they're clearly reaching for something there. Maybe the other two are filler, I think they're both pretty dumb and gimmicky. Passing the time is a dopey and simplistic melody with what sounds like one of their live jams crammed into the middle, but it at least sounds different from the rest of the album. I'm not sure if knowing that Pressed Rat really meant something to Baker would make it better or worse. FWIW, they played As You Said and Passing the Time each once in 1968, and they played Pressed Rat in their 2005 reunion concerts.
I don't know what else on the album would qualify as filler. The blues covers were surely near and dear to Clapton's heart, White Room and Politician are vintage Cream if anything is. I've always liked the other two songs, and Deserted Cities is considered a highlight of their live albums.
