"You Don't Know How I Feel," from 1994. I think that was the last time Petty was treated as a contemporary artist. I was always extremely fond of his hits, even back before I was "into music," but for whatever reason I never bought his albums. I did eventually listen to them on streaming and liked them. I guess I thought of Petty's music as druggy back when I thought of any mention of drugs as transgressive, but even more for Last Dance With Mary Jane, which not only mentioned drugs but also my home state of Indiana.
