Music Babble

A coworker of mine, Jose, (who is six years older than me) didn't recognize his name. But he is into sports more than my "old" music. When I read off the names of who Beck worked with, Jose immediately knew names like Rod Stewart and Clapton. But he'd never heard of the Yardbirds.

While I was never a big guitar guy myself (I was a decent drummer as a teenager), I know what a massive loss this is for the rock, blues and guitar music worlds.

I didn't know until today that Beck performed with Johnny Depp. Jose referred to Depp as "not such a good guy." Lol.
