Music Babble

What makes you pick that book over his others? I haven't read it or seen either film adaptation but opinions I've seen are all over the place. Bear in mind I don't like King's book of The Shining anymore.

And for that matter, I'm really burnt out on King remakes--I've lost track of how many damn things have been made twice of his, let alone how many times King himself has popped up to claim he loves the new one.

I hope to God that new version of The Stand doesn't have a cameo by King himself, for reasons I've mentioned before on this board.
