Music Babble

There was an article in Analog magazine that argued that if you divide the numbers in Plato's account of Atlantis by 10, you can plausibly tie it to an historical event, although of course there would still be a bunch of other exaggerations in the story.

I actually remember posting that article on this site before to wish everyone a happy anniversary of Odysseus killing the suitors, which they claimed to be able to date to a specific day and year (April 16, I can look up the year if someone wants me to) based on some astronomical discription that Homer gives. I don't think the article is online anymore but I have a hard copy of it.
