FWIW, I listened to Abosultely Live for the first time in forever after making this post, skipping the Celebration of the Lizard, and I though it was okay but nothing great. I listened to it alot about 20 years ago, although I'm sure I've heard it since then, and now I'd agree that it's below the standard of their studio albums. That said, I still think it's "good" rather than "bad," and that's listening to it as an album rather than seeing it in person, which was probably much more exciting.
