Ah, cool. My dad has been more or less conservative over the years, depending on who was in power. He was actually pretty liberal under Dubya, but he was one of those guys who were born a hundred years late and had certain sensibilities that he was dead-set on instilling in us. He basically succeeded.

My older sister has outshone me academically, athletically, and professionally my whole life so I've had more freedom to be a bit of a ####up or not try as hard/get by on raw talent or just be type-B in general, and we're both very satisfied about how that has turned out.
