Music Babble

I was wondering what the last act inducted who nobody could have any reasonable objection to, and I came up with Nirvana in 2014 (or maybe Pearl Jam in 2017, or The Cure in 2019). Everybody since then can be claimed to be not famous enough, not important/distinctive enough, not "rock" enough, or not good enough.

I do think White Stripes will get in, since they were genuinely big and had a distinctive sound (at least among acts that big - I had a friend who maintained they were just ripping off The Gun Club).
