Music Babble

It's funny, Soundgarden was the one that made me initially think "really?" looking at the list. In part because I think of "Black Hole Sun" as their only well-known song. But I hadn't realized how many albums they sold, so I guess I can't actually argue. I also wasn't into popular music during their heyday so can't put my finger on how "big" they were.

I think Roxy Music getting in a few years ago, and Joy Division/New Order on the ballot now, suggests they're warming up to some of those acts that were really big in the UK but not so much the states. So I think Bush would maybe have gotten in soon enough without the Stranger Things bump.

I don't think they'll let two rap acts in in the same year and you're probably right they'd pick Missy over Tribe, reasonably so.
