Music Babble

Much as I love Fairport Convention/Thompson, I couldn't see either ever getting in. Nick Drake is more likely, but considering Big Star haven't made it in, the Hall doesn't seem huge on artists that were more influential than actually popular (even if Velvet Underground are in there).

Wilco and Little Feat seem possible. The Smiths would be likely to get in eventually, but the general dislike of Morrissey for non-musical reasons might be a barrier. I can't imagine King Crimson ever getting in - all of the prog acts that have made it at least had some mainstream success.
