Music Babble

I'm surprised to hear Children of the Damned as one of the songs everyone knew. I would have thought that that was one of their big songs of the classic era that people were less likely to know.

The only Iron Maiden song I remember Beavis and Butthead singing was The Prisoner, which isn't one I'd expect non-fans to know, but it was on the episode where they visit a prison.

I like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden and do not like Motley Crue, but I'd know way more Motely Crue songs if I hadn't actively listened to the two NWOBHM bands. I didn't play alot of guitar hero, but I remember that they included 2 Minutes to Midnight, so I'm sure that gave it some extra exposure. I know that that's after the time period you're talking about.
