The Rainmakers were huge in Norway. Never heard of them? Of course you haven't. Lots of American bands that never make it here make it huge in some random foreign country for some weird reason. We all know the story of how Cheap Trick made it.
The Fall were one of the biggest bands in Iceland - they even wrote a song about it.
